Plan 1: 19 Nights Golden Triangle Tour with Char Dham Yatra
DAY 01 – FULL DAY CITY TOUR OF NEW DELHI
Arrive in Delhi. New Delhi, the capital and the third largest city of India is a fusion of the ancient and the modern. Standing along the West End of Gangetic Plain, the capital city, Delhi, unwinds a picture rich with culture, architecture and human diversity, deep in history, monuments, museums, galleries, gardens and exotic shows. Comprising of two contrasting yet harmonious parts, the Old Delhi and New Delhi, the city is a travel hub of Northern India
DAY 02 – FULL DAY CITY TOUR OF OLD DELHI
Old Delhi - the 350-year-old walled city was built by Emperor Shah jahan in 1648 as his capital. Narrating the city's Mughal past, Old Delhi, takes you through the labyrinthine streets passing through formidable mosques, monuments and forts.
DAY 03: DELHI - HARIDWAR (230 KMS/6HRS)
After Breakfast transfer to Delhi Railway station to board Train (Delradun Shatabdi-2017 ETD is 06:50Hrs) for Haridwar. On Arrival at Haridwar railway station transfer to Hotel. In the evening visit Har-Ki-Pauri for Ganga Aarti. Back to your hotel, Overnight stay in Hotel.
DAY 04: HARIDWAR - BARKOT (220KMS/7HR)
Drive to Barkot via Dehradun & Mussoorie. Enroute visit Kempty Fall and others later drive to your Deluxe camp for night halt. Overnight stay in the Camps. Meals:
DAY 05: BARKOT - YAMUNOTRI - BARKOT {36KMS DRIVE & 7KMS TREK (ONE SIDE)}
Drive to Hanuman Chatti, from here you have to take local jeeps for Janki chatti (It helps to reduce the trek upto 8 kms), trek start from here to Yamunotri (6kms). Either by walk or by horse or by Doli at own cost. Arr. Yamunotri, One can cook rice by packing it in a cloth and dipping it in the hot water of the hot kund. Pilgrims take this cooked rice home as "Prasad". Here near the temple "Pooja" can be offered to Divya Shila, after taking bath in Jamunabai Kund's warn water and having "Darshan" of pious "Yamunaji" returning to Hanumanchatti. Later drive back to Barkot. Overnight stay at Deluxe Camp.
DAY 06: BARKOT - UTTARKASHI (100KMS/4HR)
Drive to Uttarkashi via Barkot. Check in the Deluxe camp, Later visit Vishwanath Temple. Overnight stay in deluxe camp.
DAY 07: UTTARKASHI - GANGOTRI - UTTARKASHI (100KMS/3HR EACH SIDE)
We proceed to Gangotri (3048 mts), enroute we enjoy picturesque Harsil village, Bhagirathi River and the most magnificent view of the Himalayas. After Gangotri Darshan we return to Uttarkashi. Overnight stay in Deluxe Camp at Uttarkashi.
DAY 08: UTTARKASHI – GUPTKASHI (205KMS/8 HR)
Early morning, drive to Rudraprayag. Arrive Rudraprayag by noon and check in Hotel. Evening at leisure and overnight in hotel.
DAY 09: GUPTKASHI - KEDARNATH (40 KMS BY ROAD & 14KMS TREK)
Morning drive to Gaurikund, Trek start from Gaurikund to Kedarnath (3584 mts) on foot or on by pony / Doli. Tour members should carry personal medicines, heavy woolen, toiletries and clothes for an overnight halt at Kedarnath. Check in Himalayan Ashram. Later visit Kedarnath Temple. Overnight in Himalayan Ashram.
DAY 10: KEDARNATH – GUPTKASHI (14KMS DOWN TREK & 35KMS/ 2 HR BY ROAD)
Early morning, after Temple Darshan trek down to Gaurikund. Later, drive to Rudraprayag via Guptkashi. Check in Hotel at Rudraprayag. Overnight in Hotel.
DAY 11: GUPTKASHI - BADRINATH (205KMS/9 HR)
Drive to Badrinath via Joshimath. Check in Hotel. Later at evening visit Badrinath Temple for Aarti. Overnight stay in Hotel.
DAY 12: BADRINATH – KIRTINAGAR VIA JOSHIMATH (200KMS/7HR)
Early morning, pilgrims after having a bath in the Taptkund have the Darshan of Badrivishal. Brahamakapal is significant for Pinddan Shraddh of ancestors (Pitrus). There are other interesting sight seeing spot like Mana, Vyas Gufa, Maatamoorti, Charanpaduka, Bhimkund and the "Mukh" of the Saraswati River. Just within the three kms of Badrinathjee. After early lunch, drive to Kirtinagar. Check in Hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
DAY 13: KIRTINAGAR – RISHIKESH (100KMS/3HR)
Early morning, visit Narsingh Temple & Shankracharaya Math. Later, Drive back to Rishikesh. Check in Hotel. Overnight stay.
DAY 14: RISHIKESH - DELHI (230KMS/7HR)
After breakfast drive to Delhi. Lunch enroute & Reach Delhi by Evening. On Arrival in Delhi, transfer to Hotel. Dinner & Overnight stay in Delhi Hotels.
DAY 15: IN DELHI
Full day free to explore Local Market of Delhi for Shopping. Visit Connaugt Place, Delhi Hut, Sarojini Nagar etc. Dinner & Overnight stay in Delhi Hotel.
DAY 16 - DRIVE FROM DELHI TO AGRA (210KMS/ 4 HRS)
After breakfast drive to Agra. On arrival at Agra and transfer to hotel. Visit the imposing Agra Fort, built of red sandstone and marble is a hilltop citadel with fabulous courtyards, fountains and gates. In Evening explores the monumental heritage of the Great Mughals, including the magnificent Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World and surely the most extravagant expression of love ever created. 20,000 men labored for over 17 years to build this memorial to Shah Jahan's beloved wife. It's a wealth of white marble and semi-precious stone - undoubtedly the highlight of the tour. Overnight stay at hotel.
DAY 17-AGRA - FATEHPUR SIKRI - JAIPUR (236KMS/ 5HRS)
After breakfast drive from Agra to Pink City Jaipur. Enroute visit the ghost town of Fatehpur sikri. Built during the second half of the 16th century by the Emperor Akbar, Fatehpur Sikri (the City of Victory) was the capital of the Mughal Empire for only some 10 years. The complex of monuments and temples, all in a uniform architectural style, includes one of the largest mosques in India, the Jama Masjid. Drive further to Jaipur. Arrive and check into hotel. Evening at leisure, Overnight in Agra hotels.
DAY 18– FULL DAY CITY TOUR OF JAIPUR
After breakfast Visit the elegant Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Winds) - this elaborate building, now little more than a façade, is encrusted with delicate screens and carved balconies from which the royal ladies, confined to their quarters, could sneak views of the outside world. Visit the dramatic hilltop fortress at Amber; ascend the imposing fort on a painted elephant. Enjoy the elephant ride, like the Maharajah’s used to.
