Day 01: Arrival at Delhi
Upon arrival at Delhi Airport, you will be met by our Golden Triangle Tour representative who will transfer you to the hotel. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 02: Delhi
After having breakfast in hotel, we will proceed for sightseeing tour of Old Delhi & New Delhi.
Day 03: Delhi - Varanasi
After having breakfast, you will be transferred to airport to connect the flight for Varanasi which is said to be the India’s most sacred city situated on the western bank of the holy river Ganga. On arrival, first check-in at the hotel. Later we will proceed for the city tour.
First of all, we will go to the Vishwanath Temple; this ancient temple is demolished by Aurangzeb. Its gumbaj was plated with 820 kg gold and the height of the gumbaj was 15.5 Mtrs. We can also take a ride in boat on the holy river “Ganges” to see the bathing Ghats and cremation site.
Rest of the day will be at the leisure.
Day 04: Varanasi
After having some breakfast, get ready for the boat cruise at the river Ganges to observe the way of life of pilgrims on the Ghats. Later visit the different monuments of the city. East of Varanasi is one of the Buddhism’s major centers of India. After attaining enlightenment, the Buddha came to Sarnath where he gave his first sermon. Visit the deer park and the museum and later back to Varanasi. Overnight stay will be in Varanasi.
Day 05: Varanasi - Khajuraho
After having breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport to board the flight for Khajuraho. Arrive at the Khajuraho & then you will be transferred to the hotel. Khajuraho is world famous for its beautiful and artistic Temples. The legendary temples of Khajuraho are an incomparable experience. Acknowledged as one of the world’s artistic wonders, these temples dedicated to the Hindu pantheon of Gods. Arrive in Khajuraho and check into your hotel.
Evening will be free at leisure. Overnight stay will be in Khajuraho.
Day 06: Khajuraho - Agra
After having breakfast, later get ready to take a tour of the Eastern and Western groups of temples known for their erotic carvings. The Kendriya Mahadev Temple is the best known of the Khajuraho Temples.
Later you will be transferred to the airport for flight to Agra. Arrive Agra & then you will be transferred to the hotel. Overnight stay will be in Agra.
Day 07: Agra - Jaipur
Have some breakfast and then proceed to visit the beautiful places of Agra. Enjoy visiting the Mughal city of Agra where you will see amazing Taj Mahal - a symbol of undying love, which is also one of the seven wonder’s of the world. After having lunch, we will drive to Jaipur - en route visiting Fatehpur Sikri, a perfectly preserved Mughal city built at the height of the empire's splendor. Arrive Jaipur & then you will transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay will be in Jaipur.
Day 08: Jaipur
After having the morning breakfast, enjoy the full day sightseeing tour of bright and romantic Jaipur by exploring the pink city. Visit the Amber fort, the Jaigarh fort and the Nahargarh fort. Enjoy riding on elephants at the premises of majestic Amber fort. Evening of Jaipur is quite charming & you will enjoy much to feel it. Return back to the hotel at night for overnight stay. Overnight stay will be in Jaipur.
Day 09: Jaipur- Jodhpur
After having breakfast, we will drive to Jodhpur & then you will be transferred to hotel. Evening will be at leisure. Overnight stay will be in Jodhpur.
Day 10: Jodhpur (Sun City)
After having the breakfast, get ready for the city tour.
Also enjoy village safari and take the glimpse through the rich traditional Jodhpur culture.
Jodhpur was founded by Rao Jodha in 1459. It is a beautiful sprawling white washed city under the ceaseless vigil of a massive fort of sheer rocky eminence. Visit the spots which are really worth visiting. In the morning, visit gigantic Meherangarh Fort and the Jaswant Thada.
Meherangarh Fort: - One of the largest in India, unsurpassed in beauty and grandeur - and a perfect example of desert variant of Rajputs architecture. The tour of the fort will be followed by a visit to the old town where you walk through the market getting a feel of the town.
Also you can a glimpse of rich traditional culture of Jodhpur by visiting the village.
Overnight stay will be in Jodhpur.
Day 11: Jodhpur- Udaipur
In the early morning, get ready to drive to Udaipur en-route visiting Ranakpur - the largest and most beautifully preserved Jain Temple in India. Later we will proceed to see the fort of Kumbhalgarh. Arrive Udaipur in the evening & then you will be transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay will be in Udaipur.
Day 12: Udaipur (Lake City)
Have some tasty and relishing Rajasthani breakfast in the hotel and get your feet to explore Udaipur. The Lake City of Udaipur, under the dark shadows of green Aravali hills, is a real ‘Oasis of Romance’ in the otherwise drab land.
In the evening, take boat ride on Lake Pichola/Fateh Sagar Lake. Watch the amazing sunset scene from Sajjan Garh Fort/Monsoon Palace. Enjoy the awesome dinner in your hotel room and make your stay comfortable.
Day 13: Udaipur - Bombay - Aurangabad
In the morning, you will be transfer to the airport to board the flight of Bombay and then to connect the flight to Aurangabad. Arrive Aurangabad & then you will be transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay will be in Aurangabad.
Day 14: Aurangabad (Caves Tours)
In the early morning, get ready to explore the caves of Ajanta which offers a rich tapestry of images that speak of palaces, royalty, cultures and tales of everyday life of ancient India.
Aurangabad is famous for its well known caves i.e. cave of Ajanta which was buried in the debris of time, these 30 caves were built to offer seclusion to the Buddhist monks, who lived, taught and performed rituals. You will definitely wonder after watching this glorious view of your life. Overnight stay will be in Aurangabad.
Day 15: Aurangabad - Bombay
In the morning, have some breakfast and get ready to explore Ellora caves. Ellora Caves are also famous for its glory involves the rock temples and monasteries of Ellora represent the three major faiths of India - Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism. Like Ajanta, Ellora caves too are a fine example of cave temples with almost 34 caves with intricate interiors and ornamental facades. Later in the evening, you will be transfer to airport to board the flight to Bombay. Arrive Bombay & transfer to hotel. Overnight stay will be in Bombay.
Day 16: Bombay - Madurai
In the morning, you will be transfer to airport to board the flight to Madurai. Arrive Madurai & then you will be transfer to the hotel. Visit the famous places of Madurai.
Madurai also called ‘city of celebrations’. Meenakshi Amman temple is the second largest temple in India. Different episodes of demons, animals also found expressions in the temple. Nayak mahal bears the Rajasthani and Indo-serasenic architectural style. There you can watch attractive sound and light show narrating the glorious days of the Nayak kings. Overnight stay will be in Madurai.
Day 17: Madurai - Tanjore - Trichy
In the morning, we will drive to Tanjore. Tanjore is dotted with no fewer than 74 temples - the most famous of which is the Brihadeshwar temple. Visit this fascinating temple and the Thanjavur Palace before continuing your drive to Trichy. Arrive Trichy and then you will transfer to the hotel. Proceed for the city tour.
Rock fort is the main attraction of the Trichy. It is 83m high and looks like a cap of the hill. You will be able to see the clear view of Cauveri River from the top of the Ganesha temple. Poompuhar is a popular shopping center. You can also visit the unorthodox Shantivan ashram. After that take some lunch and rest for the whole night.
Day 18: Trichy - Chennai
In the morning, you will be transfer to railway station to board the train for Chennai. Arrive Chennai & then you will be transfer to the hotel. Later visit St. Thomas Church, Kapaleeshwarar Temple, Fort St. George and drive past the Marina Beach. Overnight stay will be in Chennai.
Day 19: Chennai - Kanchipuram - Mahabalipuram
In the morning, get ready to explore the Kanchipuram & Mahabalipuram. Thirukadalmallai, the temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Built by Pallava King in order to safeguard the sculptures from the ocean.
The day starts with early breakfast and drive to Mahabalipuram – The monuments are mostly rock-cut and monolithic, and constitute the early stages of Dravidian architecture wherein Buddhist elements of design are prominently visible. Arignar Anna Zoological Park, Arignar Anna Illam, Dash ‘N’ Splash (this artificial children park has wave, free-fall, spiral children slides and artificial rainfall), kishkintha, kolarai lake, sakunthala museum of folk art, silk industries, queens land are some of the attractive places of kancheepuram. End the visit by photography of the beautiful Shore temples at sunset. Overnight stay will be in Chennai.
Day 20: Chennai - Onward Destinations
After having Kashmiri breakfast, our Golden Triangle representative will assist you in checking out of the hotel and transfer you to the airport for your onward destination.
